Just Browsing

Aside from a generous literary and cocktail recipes contribution, Ernest Hemingway produced two striking grandaughters, Margaux (1954-1996) and Mariel, born in 1961 and both famous for their luxuriant brows. I'd say even bigger than Brooke Shields'.

Six feet tall Margaux - named after the wine - had to live with dyslexia, bulimia, epilipsy and toxicomany. She was the first model to ever cash a million dollars cheque, performed in a few films and was shaking her thing at Studio 54 with pals Grace Jones, Bianca Jagger & co. Sadly she was found dead in her appartment at 42.

Little sis Mariel modelled a bit and gave one of the most heartbreaking and pure performance ever in Manhattan. She later had a cameo in another Allen,
Deconstructing Harry, but her acting skills were never used advisely by other directors.

She is now a wellbeing and spirituality guru and wrote a book with the longest title in the world: Mariel Hemingway's Healthy Living from the Inside Out: Every Woman's Guide to Real Beauty, Renewed Energy, and a Radiant Life. Great, it's Christmas soon!

Today, her daughter Dree is now taking over.
